Ok mama's I need some help! I have two daughters, a 2 1/2 year old and a 8 month old who's baby led weaning, and is still on the breast as well. I am so so so proud!! Teyla had THREE successful nursing attempts today!! She hasnt had a bottle since 8 this morning and milkies ever since! We met with our WIC peer counselor this afternoon and had our first successful session of the day with her. I also was able to get an Ameda hospital grade pump for one month as well. I used to think that i didn't deserve my girls, but now i believe God sent them to me so I would have someone to live and strive for. Id either be dead or doing some serious time in jail if it weren't for them. They're my everything.

Ive decided from now on, im only giving my 4.5 month old DD Teyla three 6 or 7 oz bottles of 24 cal/ounce formula (the girls' ped and my WIC office conferenced and now have her on 24 cal per ounce mixed similac advance to boost her weight because she just wasnt growing. So my close friends know my diagnoses: im bopolar II, woth borderline personality disorder, and a panic disorder. My pdoc (what psych patients call our psychiatrists) has doubled my geodon, up to 160mg/day, doubled my lexapro up to 40mg/day, and added fluvoxamine 40mg/day, and since I'm not pregnant anymore, I'm back on 2mg of clonazepam for panics ( Read more... )

But why then did they not take Carrie Underwood's "Blown Away" off air due to the tragedies in Oklahoma? I just think its dumb. At this point, im just waiting for my milk to dry up. Its not yet. When my 4 mo old dd nurses, she dmpties my breasts by midday, and the rest of the day she gets formula until my milk regenerates the next day.
